Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD)
Carried out within IVF or ICSI, preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) is a way to detect genetic anomalies of an embryo prior to implantation into the uterine cavity. This test allows for the prevention of the transmission of some chromosomal and genic pathologies to a future child. This diagnosis method is the only way to detect chromosome diseases in the embryos. Not only it prevents the birth of a child with chromosome diseases, but it also increases the efficiency of in vitro fertilization and decreases the likelihood of miscarriage. In addition, this method allows to detect the gender of a future child. In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)
In vitro fertilization (IVF) is the infertility treatment where insemination occurs outside the female body. This treatment has been developed for patients who are unable to fertilize naturally. After 30 to 36 hours of hormonal stimulation, the mature eggs are collected using a small tube and a needle that is inserted into the vagina. This procedure is performed under local anesthesia. The sperm is collected a few hours before and is separated from the seminal fluid. A few hours after collection, sperm and egg are put in contact in a culture fluid for several hours at body temperature. .Egg Donation
The egg donation program is based on the IVF method and is intended for women, whose eggs are deficient, where there is risk of transmitting a hereditary disease to their future child, or when IVF hasn’t been successful. Choosing a donor is a very serious and important step. That is why our reproductive medicine partners has an extremely thorough selection process.Surrogacy
Surrogacy is an arrangement, often supported by a legal agreement, whereby a woman agrees to bear a child for other persons, who will become the child's parent after birth. For women who cannot carry out the pregnancy due to a variety of medical reasons, surrogacy is the only way to have genetic offspring. In the process of this treatment method, the embryo, which has been received after the fertilization of the genetic mother’s egg by the genetic father’s sperm, is transferred to the chosen surrogate mother.Reproductive medicine treatments and services
