Ukraine has a very lenient visa policy. A lot of countries around the globe are visa-exempt, which means that the citizens of those countries do not require a visa when they visit. Keep in mind that the list of nationalities that can enter Ukraine without a visa indefinitely is short, but the list of nationalities that can stay up to 90 days is relatively long. The remaining nationalities who want to go to Ukraine are required to apply for a visa.

If you are going to visit Ukraine, please, keep in mind the following simple safety rules:
  • Stay in safer regions – Western Ukraine (Lviv, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi) is generally safer for visitors, while some central and eastern areas require caution and prior research.
  •  Curfew regulations remain in place in many regions, typically from 23:00–05:00 or 00:00–05:00; movement is restricted during these hours, so plan activities accordingly, use reliable transportation, carry ID, and stay updated on any changes through official sources or our concierge team.
  • Follow local and international news, government advisories, and security alerts to stay informed about any potential risks. Our team can provide real-time updates and guidance to help you plan your trip.
  • Keep from traveling to remote and unexplored areas of the large cities;
  • Avoid showing cash and expensive devices if not necessary;
  • Ukrainian public transport is not always easy to use; therefore, if you want to see the city, it’s better to hire an individual guide who owns a car.  Iif you want to travel around the country then book one of our tours, and Health Pilgrims will take care of your trip and safety;
