How often do you need to go for a check up?
Routine physical exams are generally recommended once a year if you're over the age of 50, and once every 2 – 3 years if you're younger than 50 and in a good health. After the age of 50 the risk of various disease developing increases and a full examination becomes a “must”.
What is included in a check up?
Basic program includes a detailed physical examination performed by a doctor, a minimum of 25 laboratory and 10 instrumental tests. Blood-related tests determine the patient's metabolic, hormonal, and hematological status and the state of your health. Among the most important tests are X-ray and ultrasonography, measurement of blood sugar, cholesterol, examination of the liver and kidneys. During functional tests, the work of the heart and respiratory system is being analyzed.
